Students can't be certified beyond the sophomore year as an undeclared major.
Non-Degree Students
The VA defines matriculated students as formally admitted degree seeking students. VA education benefits can't be used as a non-matriculated (non-degree) student unless pending admission. Additional information can be found in Title 38 CFR 21.4252.
