Enrollment certifications are often required for insurance companies, scholarships, prospective employment, military identification cards, and proof of enrollment.
Military dependents often need enrollment verification for insurance purposes or to obtain an ID. For example, dependents over the age of 21 can obtain a Uniformed Services ID card if they are full-time students, extending benefits until age 23 or graduation. Proof of school enrollment is required. Mason has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to provide enrollment and degree verifications. Request Verification in Patriot Web.
- Log into Patriot Web.
- Select Student Services tab.
- Select Student Profile.
- Select Order Enrollment Verification.
- You will then be connected to the NSC Student Self-Service Site.
If you are covered under CHAMPVA as a dependent child and you turn 18 years old, you’ll need to send proof of enrollment to keep getting benefits. Beneficiaries are required to send a school certification letter within 1 month after the first term begins, and annually thereafter.
