Inter-Con Security Systems
Inter-Con Security Systems provides the uniformed security at the U.S. Department of
State. We are continuously hiring new applicants and usually have two training classes a month. Once out of training the base pay is $25.75 an hour, plus an additional $3.80 for health and welfare, and an additional $0.50 for uniform maintenance, for a total of $30.05 an hour.
All applicants will also be put in for a security clearance. New hires can earn up to 80 hours of vacation a year and six personal sick days. After five years of employment you get an additional 40 hours of vacation. Some employees earn over 200 hours of vacation a year. If interested contact:

Chase Military Financial Services
JPMorgan Chase will take significant measurable steps to offer jobs and training to veterans. The company:
- Will form an alliance with other major corporate employers to commit to hire 100,000 military and veterans in total over the next ten years. We have already received commitments from several corporate partners and have reached out to many others. We will announce full details of the alliance in the coming weeks.
- Will require all of its vendors to disclose its military hiring practices and will make contract decisions in part based on how strong those programs are. This is in addition to our current practice of requiring vendors to disclose their diversity practices.
