Army Tuition Assistance


  • You must be an active or activated reserve member of the US Army

Benefits Provided

Tuition Assistance Program (TA) will pay 100% of tuition and fees not exceed;

  • $250 @ Semester Credit Hour, or
  • $166 @ Quarter Credit Hour, and
  • $4500 @ Fiscal Year

Application Requirements

Applications for Tuition Assistance can be applied for online using the Army’s automated TA process. This must be done through the GoArmyEd Portal

Steps for Using Army TA Correctly

  1. Register for classes
  2. Apply for TA
  3. Get approval signed by your command
  4. Obtain a Degree Plan from the Office of Military Services
  5. Through Patriot Web, take a print screen of your account detail by term, showing total tuition cost breakdown
  6. Upload all documents onto your Go Army Ed account

Every student participating in the Third Party payment arrangement will be assessed a mandatory $25 Third Party Processing Fee each semester.
